New sex book talks about lube jobs

Lube Jobs: A Woman’s Guide to Great Maintenance Sex is a book that addresses those issues about sex that involve a marriage when it drifts into boredom. The book, written by Don and Debra Macleod, believe that marriages are like cars and that they need maintenance once in a while.

“Most women experience ups and downs in their sexual attraction to their longtime partners but for many women in otherwise healthy relationships the ‘downs’ can be lifted with just a little effort,” the couple writes, as quoted in an AP release.

The couple is also the author of a 2004 book called The French Maid: And 21 More Naughty Sex Fantasies to Surprise and Arouse Your Man.

Publisher’s Weekly has said that Lube Job is a bit more male-focused than some might like.

“Though some (if not, many) readers will find this single-minded guidebook patronizing, it does what it sets out to do, with very little deviation from the man-pleasing mission at hand,” Publisher’s Weekly states.

The book finishes at 288 pages.
